Center Manager, Early Head Start (EHS) Lynwood

JOB SUMMARY:

The Center Manager implements and upholds the mission, policies, and practices of St. Anne’s Early Learning Center. This person works alongside the Associate Director of Early Head to ensure program compliance and is responsible for the day-to-day function of the infant-toddler program within the Early Learning Center, as well as the Early Childhood Education (ECE) division as a whole.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education or related field; must have at least six infant/toddler units.
  2. Must possess a valid EHS CLASS reliability Certificate or must obtain within 6 months of hire date.
  3. Must maintain Class Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) reliability yearly
  4. Valid California Child Development Site Supervisor or Program Director permit.
  5. Valid California driver’s license and meet criteria for additional insurability with Agency.
  6. At least 2 years of experience as an early childhood educator, preferably in a center.
  7. At least 2 years of experience delivering services in a Head Start/Early Head Start/Preschool program.
  8. First Aid (infant/child/adult) and CPR certified.
  9. Knowledge of California Department of Education Title 5 and Department of Social Services Title 22.
  10. Experience working with diverse cultures.
  11. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  12. Proficient computer skills.
  13. Effective oral and written communication.
  14. Proficient in developing and maintaining cooperative staff relationships.
  1. Ability to receive and implement constructive feedback.
