LEAD RESIDENTIAL COUNSELOR *BONUS INCENTIVE*

Schedule: Wed-Sat 3pm-12am, Flex Days Monday or Tuesday (3pm-11pm) OR: Sun – Wed 11:00p – 8:00am, Flex Sat 11:00am – 7:00pm
 
Pay Rate: $22.00 – $23.00 Hourly
 

Location: Main Campus

Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) offers both a Sign-On Incentive and a Retention Incentive that ranges between $750-$1500 based on annual salary/pay.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for monitoring, supervising, and guiding the staff and residents in their daily routine.  Responsible for facility management duties.  Provides leadership to the Residential Counselors and ensures a healthy, therapeutic and safe environment for residents and their children in their care.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  1. Provides oversight and assistance to each resident in working with a group and in handling individual problems.
  2. Provides supervision, protection, and care of residents individually and in groups at all time.
  3. Oversight and administration of discipline and setting of limits for residents.
  4. Documents residents progress; identifies possible need for professional services; communicates such findings to professional staff.
  5. Evaluates and monitors Residential Counselors.
  6. Participates in mandatory trainings, in-service, and meetings.
  7. Maintain regular, consistent, and timely attendance.
  8. Maintain confidentiality as required by St. Anne’s, licensing, HIPPA, and other regulatory agencies.

  1. Participate on Facility Manager Training.
  2. Participate/ Evaluate mandatory trainings, in-services, and meetings.
  3. Participate in the Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) of the agency.
  4. Monitor/Evaluate/Oversee staff trainings
  5. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related degree.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use good judgment in decision-making
  • Ability to independently use a computer and the ability to learn necessary computer programs.
  • Physical ability to perform ProAct, administer first aid/CPR and operate an Agency motor vehicle.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid California Driver’s License and a driving record acceptable to the agency’s insurance carrier.
