Manager of Data Analytics


Leading the execution of data analysis across St. Anne’s Early Childhood Education programming.  Working with ECE leadership to understand what data needs to be collected and how it should be best presented to support program improvements, funding and student outcomes.  Is able to develop and present information in compelling ways based on audience and intention.

Managing the data system and processes to ensure that data is accurate and accessible; including ensuring data is being entered timely and accurately.

Responsible for conducting audits on all program services, creating and training staff on processes within systems to ensure the collection of data is accurate, timely and compliant with ECE standards, Head Start Performance Standards and LACOE’s Grantee Information Memorandums (GMIs).

Responsible for preparation and distribution of regular progress monitoring reporting, and other regular reports as requested by ECE leadership.



  1. Responsible for the oversight and management of ECE-related data systems.
  2. Prepares and presents comprehensive assessments to management and governance bodies.
  3. Responsible for utilizing independent judgment to bring issues of concern and patterns of compliance issues to the immediate attention of the Vice President, ECE Programs.
  4. Provides supervision and oversight to Data Specialists to ensure data collection and entry is accurate, timely and compliant.
  5. Responsible for delivering reports to meet requirements of funders and grants.
  6. Responsible for the integration of data from internal and external sources, compilation and aggregation of program data, and facilitating the analysis of data.
  7. Responsible for the oversight of the student data management system.
  8. Prepare and present monthly data driven reports for submission to Vice President, ECE Programs and other program management staff.
  9. Continuous monitoring of Head Start and Early Head Start operations to ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, Program Written Plan and Policies and Procedures.
  10. Regularly conducts audits on program services.QUALIFICATIONS:
    1. Thorough and proven understanding of the principles of data management and administration.
    2. Familiarity with modern database, data warehouse architecture and visualization tools .
    3. Analytical skills and proficiency at digesting and analyzing large amounts of data.
    4. Problem solving skills and ability to tackle problems under pressure.
    5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
    6. BA with major coursework in Data Science or a related field.
    7. Must possess and maintain a valid class C CA driver’s license, automobile liability insurance, and driving record acceptable to the agency’s insurance carrier.
    8. Two to three (2-3) years of experience managing data integration and analysis.
    9. Ability to receive and implement constructive feedback.

As providers of social services, St. Anne’s employees work with clients dealing with complex emotional and mental health issues, many of whom are facing significant personal crises on a daily basis.  Employees must remain aware of any personal emotions, transference, and/or countertransference that may hinder the ability to remain professional.  As such, employees are expected to maintain composure during all interactions and crisis situations, implement a self-care plan, and utilize crisis communication to deescalate client crises and prevent any serious bodily injury or harm.
