Parent Partner, Part of Wrap Around Team

Hours M-F, 10-7, flex Friday 10-6.

The Parent Partner is part of a team of social workers assisting a family in crisis. Parent Partners pair up with the parent in crisis to help them as a “peer advocate” to:* Navigate through the system, * Connect them with any agency/person who would be beneficial at this time and since this person has been through a similar situation personally, * They are there to offer support and guidance.


  • Has been a parent or primary caregiver (not foster parent) of a child who formerly received services from one of the following COUNTY Departments: DMH, Probation Department, and/or DCFS; or from Regional Center.
  • When hired, the Parent Partner must no longer have an open case in either the Probation Department or DCFS.
  • Must have car & insurance.
  • Will be meeting client in their homes so need transportation.
  • Bilingual Spanish required.
  • Computer friendly.
