Program Assistant

Hours: Thursday-Sunday 1pm-10pm, flex Wed 1:30pm-9:30pm

St. Anne’s Transitional Program provides subsidized housing and comprehensive support services to pregnant and parenting young women and their children. The program is designed to promote independence and self-sufficiency by empowering and educating young mothers.

JOB SUMMARY:

Maintain a healthy, therapeutic, and safe environment for all residents. Provide program support and maintain the resident files and reception area.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Manage and direct incoming phone calls. Greet and direct guests and residents in the reception area, including signing in visitors and enforce the visitation guidelines.
  • Assist program applicants with the program orientation process.
  • Complete alumni follow-up surveys and offer supportive services to alumni as necessary.
  • Assist with maintaining resident files by filing, organizing and logging documents.
  • Maintain data and document tracking systems by entering data and monitoring accuracy. Complete reports as necessary.
  • Operate as the Facility Manager after regular business hours, including submitting work orders as necessary.
  • Assist during emergency situations. Direct emergency response personnel, residents and staff. Assist with evacuating the building if necessary.
  • Provide crisis intervention to residents and link to supportive services as necessary.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor’s Degree in a Behavioral Science is preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred, not required.
  • Good oral, written and organizational skills.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid California Driver’s License and a driving record acceptable to the agency’s insurance carrier.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills.
