Program Assistant at Beverly Terrance, a in Permanent Supportive Housing Program

Hours: Mon-Thurs 10-7, flex Fri 10-6

Beverly Terrace is for families for former foster youth and their children as well as other homeless community families. The comprehensive services at Beverly Terrace will prepare mothers and their children to seek new permanent housing as parents’ job prospects expand and their circumstances improve.

The on-site services will include: Case Management, Counseling, Workforce Development & an Early Learning Center.


  • Manage and direct incoming phone calls. Greet and direct guests and residents in the reception area, including signing in visitors and enforce the visitation guidelines.
  • Assist program applicants with the program orientation process.
  • Assist with maintaining resident files by filing, organizing and logging documents.
  • Maintain data and document tracking systems by entering data and monitoring accuracy. Complete reports as necessary.
  • Operate as the Facility Manager after regular business hours, including submitting work orders as necessary.
  • Assist during emergency situations. Direct emergency response personnel, residents and staff. Assist with evacuating the building if necessary.
  • Provide crisis intervention to residents and link to supportive services as necessary.


  • High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor’s Degree in a Behavioral Science is preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred, not required.
  • Good oral, written and organizational skills.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid California Driver’s License and a driving record acceptable to the agency’s insurance carrier.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills.
