Araksi Simidyan, MA
As Director of Residential Program Services, Araksi oversees the overall program for clients placed in the short-term residential therapeutic program and is responsible for managing the program in compliance with laws and regulations.
Araksi began working at St. Anne’s in 2016 as an Assistant Director for the Residential Treatment Program overseeing training, recruitment, and case management services. Before joining St. Anne’s Araksi was a Children’s Social Worker II with the Department of Children and Family Services in the Chatsworth and Van Nuys offices. In 2018, Araksi transitioned to St. Anne’s Human Resources department as Director of Training. As Director of Training Araksi oversaw overall training at St. Anne’s, managed St. Anne’s Learning Management System, and handled new hire on-boarding. In 2019, Araksi took a detour and joined QueensCare, a non-profit community healthcare organization, as their Human Resources Director. Although, she greatly enjoyed her experience at QueensCare, Araksi realized that the work she truly feels passionate about is with the young women and children at St. Anne’s Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program and returned in 2020.
Araksi earned her Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. She is a certified Strength Based Leadership coach, Pro-Act instructor and C.A.R.E instructor.
