Volunteer
READ
Share a good book with a child or a group of children to improve their vocabulary, fluency and reading comprehension at one of our Early Learning Centers. Volunteer requirements: aged 18 or older, fingerprinting background check, TB test, and select vaccinations.
PLAY
Boost a baby’s motor, language and social skills through playtime at one of our Early Learning Centers. Volunteer requirements: aged 18 or older, fingerprinting background check, TB test, and select vaccinations.
TEACH
Present at one of our Workforce Development sessions, part of an in-depth program helping transition-age foster youth build career paths. Describe your career path and share your story. You can also join our “Career Shadowing” list, serve as a mentor to a young working woman, or conduct mock interviews with clients to prepare them for real interviews. Volunteer requirements: aged 21 or older, Live Scan fingerprinting, and clearance from a St. Anne’s staff member.
INVEST
Provide a six-moth or year-long internship for a Workforce Development participant.
MAKE MERRY
Volunteer at one of our holiday parties, where you can help with set up and clean up, serve food and meet some of St. Anne’s families.
BEAUTIFY
Assist with cleaning one of our Early Learning Centers. The day’s tasks include cleaning playground equipment, toys and classrooms. This is a wonderful way to learn more about St. Anne’s approach to child development and a great teambuilding or group activity.
THRIFT
Help sort through clothing donations, arrange merchandise on the floor, and assist customers as they shop St. Anne’s Thrift & Gift Shop at 3315 W Burbank Blvd, Burbank, CA 91505. All proceeds go to support St. Anne’s programs.
You can also help craft beautiful baskets, wreathes, or whatever you can imagine for sale at Guild events! We welcome your creativity.

FUNDRAISE
Volunteer at one of our fundraising events by helping with silent auction setup, guest registration, and other logistics.
Support
HOST A DRIVE
Host a book or toy drive for our young families, collecting new items for our holiday giving celebrations.
THROW A VIRTUAL BABY SHOWER
Throw a “virtual baby shower” for the new mothers in our programs by putting together baskets with newborn necessities such as diapers, wipes, bottles and blankets.
THROW A VIRTUAL HOUSEWARMING
Host a “virtual housewarming” for the new residents in our Transitional Housing Program by assembling baskets of new household goods such as towels, linens, and soap and kitchen items. Download list of items here.
SPONSOR AN ACTIVITY
Sponsor a family activity by donating passes to a zoo or museum, tickets to a sporting event or a trip to a theme park.
