Ways to Volunteer

Your gift of time, talent and resources goes a long way at St. Anne’s Family Services.

“It Feels Like Family”

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with St. Anne’s Family Services. There are several ways to connect with us and the families we serve through volunteerism.

We are currently holding off on any recurring volunteerism to keep our guests, families and staff safe from the COVID-19 variants. Please consider doing one of our off-site volunteer activities such as hosting a virtual baby shower; diaper drive; book drive; or non-perishable food drive.

Stay tuned to this page for updates and we look forward to welcoming you back to campus soon…

St. Anne’s Family Services is looking for passionate and motivated individuals or groups who are interested in making a difference in the lives of our young mothers, children and families. There are so many ways to help, and our staff will coordinate with you or your group to find a great fit. Read through some of the great opportunities below.

To get started, please fill out this volunteer application.

Prep for success as an intern

Support children in classrooms

Opportunities with our Early Childhood Education program vary from storytime to playground monitoring and cleaning projects. Get involved and impact the lives of our littlest participants and their dedicated teaching staff. Weekday opportunities only. Additional considerations required (i.e. background checks).

Inspire work-ready young women

Our Workforce Development program helps transition-age teens in foster care build career paths. Options for volunteers include career path and sharing your career path story, “Career Shadowing” where participants shadow you for a period of time, mentoring a young working woman, or conduct mock interviews with clients to prepare them for real interviews. Additional considerations required (i.e. background checks).

Nourish the hungry

Families in the care of St. Anne’s Family Services qualify for food, formula, diapers, baby items, personal care items, clothing, and more through our Felician Services Help & Hope Food Bank. Help us stock shelves, maintain inventory, fill orders and distribute bags through this life-changing program.

Get your company involved in changing lives

Work with our Workforce Development team to provide a six-month or year-long internship for a program participant. By partnering with us, you are helping shape the future of workforce.

Ideas include social media fundraisers, birthday appeals, wine parties, baby shower registries, housewarming registries for our new housing residents, book or toy drives, and awareness events.
