Community Based Services
In 1997 we introduced our community-based services division, providing mental health and wraparound services to families facing emergency and critical care needs.
Keeping Families Safe and Together
St. Anne’s Family Services provides crisis intervention, therapy and support to families who are experiencing crisis. We seek to meet each individual and family where they are at, providing services aimed at addressing trauma, stabilizing families, and providing the tools necessary to thrive.
St. Anne’s Family Services is renowned for its comprehensive social services in the Metro Los Angeles service areas SPA 4 and SPA 6. Through a contract with Los Angeles County’s Mental Health and Children and Family Services departments, St. Anne’s Wraparound Approach Services program provides crisis intervention and mental health therapy to at-risk families in Los Angeles. Our community-based teams build long-lasting relationships with the community because many of the young women and families from our residential programs are from these areas.
We believe that wraparound services can take a family that is on the verge of being shattered and reverse its course. Instead of foster care, the children can stay in a healthy family environment with empowered and educated parents.
When each family finishes the program, its child welfare case closes, children are set up to thrive in school and at home, and parents have formal and informal community contacts to support their self-sufficiency. These intensive, coordinated services put families on a new path to success.
