Annual Salary: $71,852
**The STRTP Program offers both a Sign-On Incentive AND a Retention Incentive range between $750-$1500 based on annual salary/pay.**
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing comprehensive mental health services to ensure quality client care. Ensure documentation adheres to DMH standards. Participate in an interdisciplinary team to provide a healthy, therapeutic, and safe environment for program participants.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Provide individual, family, play, and group therapy for designated caseload of program participants.
- Utilize DSM for diagnosing. Conduct psycho-social assessments and treatment planning.
- Document client services in accordance with Department of Mental Health standards and STRTP regulations.
- Conduct visits to homes, schools and or other service providers to assist program participant to achieve their service plan goals.
- Manage community and family crises involving children and parents.
- Evaluate parent/child/family progress and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Maintain fidelity to evidenced-based practices, as required.
- Assist other program areas with coverage/ratio requirements as needed.
- Maintain monthly service provision requirements.
- Coordinate linkage to appropriate intra-agency and community resources, including coordination of client’s psychiatric needs and Intensive Care Coordination Services (ICC).
- Interface with Department of Children and Family Services, Department of Mental Health, court systems, schools, law enforcement, health care providers and other community liaisons as needed.
- Ensure accuracy in work and that all deadline expectations are met.
- Actively participate in administrative and clinical supervision and meetings.
- Follow up with supervisor in a timely manner regarding significant issues.
- Maintain confidentiality as required by St. Anne’s, licensing, HIPAA, and other regulatory agencies.
- Demonstrate ownership of work responsibilities by incorporating feedback, taking initiative, and interacting in a professional manner within assigned role and adhering to agency guidelines.
- Maintain professional boundaries with program participants and colleagues.
- Follow state laws and agency mandates regarding child abuse reporting.
- Maintain regular, consistent, and timely attendance.
- Follow and adheres to all field safety guidelines.
- Provide intensive comprehensive mental health services to child and family at least 1-2 times per week in program participants home, school, field, or office.
- Provide 24-hour availability and crisis intervention on an as needed, or regularly scheduled basis which may include weekends and evenings.
- Coordinate linkage to appropriate intra-agency and community resources, including coordination of client’s psychiatric needs and Intensive Care Coordination Services (ICC).
- Assist with the development and/or facilitate Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings, which includes multi-disciplinary professionals, the child and family, extended family members, and informal community supports, while aligning with the Integrated Share Core Practice Model.
- Participates in monthly staffing meeting with agency team members.
- Completes additional required outcome measures as outlined in program contract
SECONDARY JOB DUTIES:
- Participate in mandatory trainings, in-services, and meetings.
- Travel to clients’ homes and provide transportation as necessary.
- Participate in the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) of the agency.
- Embodies and practices the tenets of our agency Justice, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (JDEI) initiative philosophies.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling is required.
- Ability to be registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences is required.
- Experience in In-Home Services or work with adolescents preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in individual, family and group therapy.
- Good oral, written, and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to perform Pro-ACT, administer first aid/CPR and operate an Agency motor vehicle.
- Requires possession of reliable automobile and a valid California Driver’s License as well as a driving record acceptable to the agency’s insurance carrier.
- Must maintain and provide proof of automotive liability insurance coverage.
- Ability to independently use a computer and the ability to learn necessary computer programs.
- Bilingual skills in Spanish preferred
- Ability to receive and implement constructive feedback.
